Existing coating removal, extensive concrete repairs, moisture treatment, difficult access and upgraded finishes can increase the cost. Small projects may have a minimum charge.

The visible finish is one part of the flooring system. Preparation, primers, resin thickness and the exposed topcoat determine how it suits your space.
Decorative flake creates a varied finish for garages and workshops. An appropriate clear topcoat seals the flake, while the texture is selected for traction and practical cleaning.
Epoxy and polyaspartic can work together in a multilayer system. UV-stable polyaspartic topcoats are useful near bright garage openings; the complete build is selected for the slab and exposure.
Solid-colour epoxy provides a uniform working-floor finish. Quartz broadcast systems offer additional texture for suitable commercial, utility and wet-use areas.
For demanding washdown, thermal or chemical exposure, we assess a urethane-cement system with the thickness and details needed for that operation.
Wet boots, oily spills and wash water affect traction differently. We review surface texture alongside footwear, cleaning and drainage. Maintenance remains part of keeping a coated floor suitable for use.
Acreage and agricultural support
A dry machinery bay and a room washed down every day need different flooring decisions. We review equipment, fluids, water, cleaning temperatures and the condition of the slab before recommending a build.
High-build epoxy or a suitable flake system may suit workshop and storage use. Wheel loads, tool impacts, oil contamination and existing concrete damage determine the preparation and wear layer.
Regular washdown calls for attention to drainage, coved edges, traction and cleaning chemicals. Hot-water cleaning and thermal cycling may require a specified urethane-cement system.
Slab moisture, substrate strength and concrete temperature need assessment. Heating, ventilation or a different installation window may be necessary to meet the product's application requirements.

Preparation to handover
01 · Assess the concrete
We assess old coatings, cracks, damage and contamination, then determine the moisture checks and repairs required. The intended traffic, finish and closure window guide system selection.
02 · Prepare and repair
Mechanical grinding and, where specified, other preparation methods create the required profile. Failed coatings and contamination are addressed, damaged areas repaired, and movement joints detailed appropriately.
03 · Install the system
Primers, body coats, aggregate and topcoats are installed within their product requirements. Concrete temperature, moisture, humidity and recoat windows affect the work and cure schedule.
04 · Inspect and hand over
We explain the finish and care requirements, with separate timing for foot traffic, vehicles and full service. Project size, repairs and conditions determine the schedule, including any phased access.
Clear the floor and confirm power, lighting, ventilation and access for preparation equipment. For working buildings, arrange storage, vehicle routes and a closure period that allows the installed system to cure.

Before you book
Yes, subject to the slab assessment. Loose or failing materials need removal, and oil contamination or damaged concrete may need additional treatment. The quote identifies the preparation and repair scope before a new system is installed.
The materials can be combined. An epoxy base with decorative flake and a suitable polyaspartic topcoat is one option; other builds may use a different primer or resin. Concrete condition, moisture, daylight, texture and return-to-use requirements determine the recommendation.
Moisture needs assessment before coating. A compatible mitigation system may be appropriate within its limits, but water ingress, hydrostatic pressure or an unsuitable substrate can require other work first. A moisture-tolerant primer does not resolve every moisture problem.
It can when the slab and indoor conditions meet the selected products' requirements. Concrete temperature, humidity, condensation, ventilation and heating all matter. Unheated buildings may need a different installation window.
A dry shop may suit epoxy or a flake system selected for its loads and spills. Regular wet cleaning, thermal cycling or demanding chemicals can call for a different build, including urethane-cement. Drains, joints and wall-base details are considered with the floor.
Foot traffic, vehicle traffic and full cure have different requirements. The selected products, temperature, preparation and project size determine the timing. We confirm your return-to-use schedule as part of the project handover.
Service life depends on preparation, the system build, traffic, exposure and maintenance. Applicable warranty terms are stated for the quoted project. Cleaning grit, dealing with spills and following the care instructions help preserve the finish.
