If you want to reduce concrete dust and retain the slab's natural appearance, an interior sealed-concrete or grind-and-seal finish may be worth considering. If you want decorative colour, a flake finish or a specified resin wear layer, a coating system may be a better fit. Existing patches and stains can remain visible through clear finishes.

Polyaspartic describes a resin chemistry, not a single universal floor build. It can be used as a compatible topcoat or within a specified system. Product choice, preparation and curing conditions still matter.

A dry-looking surface does not establish that the slab is ready to coat. We review moisture and application conditions for the proposed system. Water entry, drainage problems or a cold, unconditioned slab may need attention before installation. A coating should not be treated as a cure for an unresolved water source.

Release times depend on the installed system and actual cure conditions. Foot traffic, vehicle parking and full chemical or equipment service may have different waiting periods. Follow the project-specific handover instructions rather than assuming a universal one-day turnaround.
Remove tracked-in grit, clean spills promptly and use cleaners compatible with the installed finish. Follow the cleaning guidance provided at handover, and use appropriate protection under equipment or concentrated loads. Maintenance needs vary with texture and use.
